House Style Analysis - Rocksound

The house style for Rocksound is inconsistent with regards to the front page and the rest of the pictures seen below. The colour scheme of the double page spread and the contents match, but is the antithesis of the style presented on the cover. The red and black on the contents page and double pages spreads make the magazine seem as if it is aimed at the same target audience as Kerrang!, but the pink and blue on the cover make it seen like the target audience is even younger than that of Kerrang! and more of a female audience. A common feature of the pictures seen below is that the members of Green Day always appear in the same order. Rocksound has images as the background with the text placed on top of it, rather than just a made background, or the artists superficially placed on the front of the DPS. This is an effective use of dimensions as it gives the impression that the artists are coming out of the pages. 

As you can see above, there is no link between the cover and the DPSs.
