Contents Page Analysis - MOJO

On the contents page there is only one picture of the subject of one of the features ("Features"), it also lists the main feature ("Cover Story") which has appeared on the cover.  This is a more simple way of doing the layout as it only has the articles people would be most interested in reading. Not every article is given acknowledgement in the contents, as the magazine would expect readers to read it all as it costs a more than music magazines like Kerrang!. The design is simplistic and not bombarded with information, more conservative than other magazines. This brings attention to the main lures, and makes it easier for those interested by the lure to find the corresponding stories to what was displayed. The reserved presentation keeps in line with the house style

The contents page also states the month and year of the issue, and the issue number. There is also a pull quote located in the bottom left at the bottom of the feature list where the Cover Story is advertised to bring greater attention to one of the other features. Other than that the contents pages goes for a simplistic and elegant art style as there is only one column of features

MOJO takes a different style when it comes to contents pages  as it only has one page with not very much information on it, whereas Kerrang! only has one page but has a lot of information on it.  This would connote the elegance of the magazine itself.
