Front Page - Editing Evidence
I edited the image for my front page cover using Adobe Photoshop. The first thing I did was cut out the background in order for me to put a plain background on my front cover. This would keep in with the convention that a lot of music magazine covers seems to be on a plain background. It would also make the main image stand out more if the background was plain. The cut out image can be seen below, as well as my image before using the magic wand tool.

After this, I made adjustments to the image in order to make it stand out more and be more vibrant that the original image. I did this by changing the brightness and contrast as well as the vibrance specifically in order to make the image look eye catching without making it fake looking.

Then I decided to keep in form with the music magazine available at the moment, that I would edit my models to get rid of any blemishes and redness as this is an aspect we don't really see when looking at music magazines. I used the spot healing brush on the two models that had a shine on their faces, as well as the model on the right who had marks on his cheek and forehead. The left image is representative of before, and the right image is for after I have edited.
