Contents Analysis - Q
The contents page of Q displays the masthead in the top left corner, much like it is on the front cover. The contents page of Q spreads across 2 pages which neither Kerrang! or Q do, this could be to help the reader to see which articles would interest them the most as there is such a range of music and features cover in this magazine, The double page is also utilized to display images of various artists that link to the features that are noted in the contents. This follows the style of Q being spaced out while still having lots of information presented on the page, this shows a large contrast between Q and Kerrang! Each topic is not listed out, it is only the articles and a small review section at the bottom. The main articles are featured on the left of the magazine and the sub articles are on the right for those going for a more thorough read.

Although lots of the space spread over the two pages if taken up by images, there are still 3 columns on both pages even if they aren't all used to advertise the features within the magazine. The most important features have their page numbers in red, whereas the articles that are not the main features are marked with their page numbers in blue. There is also a review section where live events and albums are reviewed, which allows people to see the latest in music using this little guide.
