Double Page Spread - Flat Plan
This is my first draft of my DPS flat plan, which just shows the general layout of my DPS. At the bottom there will be and image, and in the top right will be where my article will begin; there will also be a large title stating the band's name in the top left. There's more that needs to be added, but this will be seen in my second draft.
Above is my first draft for the second part of my DPS, on the left side of the page there will be an image of the group and the right page will occupy the interview. If there is space, I will put a few more images in the bottom right corner to give more of a personal relation to the artists and someone reading this article.
The image seen above is the final flat plan for the first part of my double page spread, I have added page numbers in each of the corners, as well as a drops cap at the start of my text. The main addition to this plan is the pull quote, which will also integrate some form of page furniture into it; I'm adding this to make the page stand out more, as well as be colourful.
This is the final draft for the second part of my double page spread, I have added more of a structure, as well as a few more design elements. On the left page I have added a pull quote, as well as a small version of the logo. I have replaced the images on the bottom right page with an album cover, and defined the 3 columns on the right page to match the forms and conventions of music magazine interviews seen.
