Contents - Planning

I also thought for my actual competition part of the contents page that I would use a photo taken originally for my front page, and then cut my main model out and have the text wrapped around him. This would be a good use of page furniture as well as be a good way to make my competition section stand out, therefore making my magazine look professional .

To the right is a rough representation of what my contents page will look like in photoshop, this gives me more detailed template to work from when editing this file into my final contents page.

To the left is the flat plant of my contents page, which I revised in detailed before undergoing the editing stage of my Contents Page and I thought that having a whole column dedicated to an image, a competition and a magazine subscription would all be a bit much; which led me to decide that I'll have my competition and magazine ad in the same row at the bottom.

I thought, seeing as my magazine is monthly (unlike Kerrang!) and that it's on a single page (unlike Q) that I should have information in every column.; also, due to the focus genre of my magazine I decided it would be a good choice of page design if I made my contents page very busy and interesting, hoping that there will be lots for people to be interested in.
