Contents Drafts and Feedback

To the left is the first draft of my contents page, and below is the feedback I received from people after showing them the this draft. A lot of people said that the font at the bottom was difficult to read, so to do this I'll change the font which will allow me to make it bigger and therefore make it easier to read. There was also a suggestion of putting a stylised divide between my columns, as well as varying the opacity for my texts.

The contents page on the right, shows my second draft with the feedback above taken into account. I chose to alternate the opacity of each line of the contents; the aim of this would be to change up the look of all the text I have, rather than have a large and boring body of text taking up the majority of the contents page. I also added black boxes behind the image explanations, to make them stand out more. My other change made was the text in the competition section, which I changed to a less complicated text. It also allowed me to make my text more compact are utilize the space that is made by the box.

Further Feedback: From feedback I've come up with and feedback given to me by my classmates, I've decided to make a few more changed to make my contents page look professional.

- I'm going to change the image captions to just the name, and then the number presented in a much larger font. This would meet the styles seen in my research rather than having the number presented in the way they are now. I'll also integrate my logo into these captions to ensure that they are present throughout all of my magazine.

- Another improvement is to ensure the alignment of my columns is straight, as it would look unprofessional if there was a slight slant. Then I could always add in some page furniture to split the columns up.

Below is the final draft with the changes above made, and this will be my final piece for my coursework.
